Weight Loss Injection Treatment Targets
Conditions Improved by GLP-1 injections
-
Psoriasis & Eczema
Reduces the systemic "red alert" signal in the immune system, leading to fewer plaques and less intense itching.
-
Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS)
By decreasing systemic inflammation and improving insulin resistance, GLP-1s can reduce the frequency and severity of painful nodules.
-
Acanthosis Nigricans
Directly addresses the underlying insulin resistance, helping to fade the dark, velvety patches often found in skin folds.
-
Hailey-Hailey Disease
Provides a metabolic "buffer" that may help stabilize skin cell adhesion and reduce the severity of blistering and erosions.

GLP-1 Injection FAQ
Is GLP-1 therapy safe?
Yes. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are FDA-approved for chronic weight management and have a well-established safety profile backed by years of clinical trials. These medications work by mimicking naturally occurring hormones (GLP-1 and GIP) to regulate appetite and blood sugar. While they are safe for most patients, a thorough medical consultation with our specialists is essential. We review your full medical history to ensure you are a candidate and monitor you closely to manage any common gastrointestinal side effects, ensuring your journey is as comfortable as it is effective.
