The treatment feels like a warm tapping sensation. Numbing cream is recommended to help with any discomfort that you have, although it is not necessary. - How many sessions do I need?
Depending on your goals, 3-5 sessions are typically recommended. - What is the downtime?

- Chemical Peels.
The Advanced Photofacial is a step up and is the clear recommendation for treating sun damage or brown pigmentation in general. Chemical peels also fail to adequately address red pigmentation - Pico Resurfacing. Pico treat pigment, sun damage, texture, fine lines, and wrinkles. Practically speaking, an Advanced Photofacial only treats pigment. We do not use that specific setting with the pico laser portion of the treatment.
- CO2 Laser. There is a dramatic difference between a CO2 laser and an Advanced Photofacial. An easy way to think about it is one is for color and the other is color + texture.
- Microneedling. Microneedling is not really comparable. No real textural improvement will be seen with an advanced photofacial in comparison to microneedling.
