Patients for Life Transparency
We want patients for life, not for one round of treatment. This means we won’t sell you on hopes and dreams. Seeking out cosmetic intervention is hard enough without the car salesman approach. We promise to provide options to meet you where you are at and retain you for life.
Demystifying Picoway® Tattoo Removal:
- Is it painful?
Yes. Just like getting a tattoo hurts so does having it removed. Patients will have options such as topical numbing cream, a lidocaine injection, and even oral anesthesia if pain is a concern. - How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on tattoo size, color, depth, type of ink used, type of tattoo gun used, and the area of the body. It could be as little as 6 sessions but as many as 15+. - Is it expensive?
It can be, based on the number of sessions needed. What looks worse than a bad tattoo? A bad tattoo that is partially removed. Many patients stop treatments because they are not properly informed on the number of treatments needed. - What results can I expect?
Significant fading and often complete removal of most tattoo colors, including stubborn blues and greens.

Similar Treatments on the Market:
- Q-Switch Laser Tattoo Removal. This was the standard 5-10 years ago. New pico lasers fire 100 times faster meaning more pigment removal with fewer side effects. Q-switch lasers work, but will frequently blister and scar. Others still use this technology because Pico lasers are the most expensive lasers money can buy.
- Microneedling plus (insert fad here). Like we said before, Tattoo removal is the hardest pigment in skin to remove. Our opinion is that this is snake oil.
- Tattoo Removal Creams. Don’t fall for this.
